Radiator paints

Radiator paint is specifically designed for painting radiators, providing both functional and aesthetic benefits. It is formulated to withstand the heat radiators produce without peeling or discolouring. Radiator paint is a heat-resistant, durable finish intended for use on metal radiators. It’s formulated to handle the high temperatures that radiators generate without losing its colour or structure. It also provides a smooth, even finish and helps improve the efficiency of the radiator by allowing heat to radiate more effectively.

A common question we receive is do we need to use radiator paints can't I just use a metal paint instead? The answer is yes you can use a normal paint but it won't last as long as its not heat resistant so you will be rubbing back and painting your radiators more often due to this.

Before painting your radiator it is advised that you Sand the surface lightly to help the paint adhere better. If there are any rust spots, use a wire brush or sandpaper to remove them. ensure the radiator is off and fully cooled. Clean it thoroughly to remove dust, dirt, or grease. You can use warm soapy water, followed by a clean, dry cloth.
